MEET Jackie
Jackie is your typical teenage girl, navigating friendships, spending time with her peers and foster parents, and doing arts and crafts. She goes to the gym with her foster father to run or they run together in the neighborhood. Jackie grew up with a large family and therefore, family is very important to her. It is very important to her that she is able to keep some sort of contact with her siblings and her birth mother. She is involved with tumbling and equine therapy, which is perfect for her love of animals. Jackie is also learning to play the piano and was excited to try skiing recently. Jackie benefits from being supported in school and has been working hard with a tutor; all her hard work has paid off because she recently achieved honor roll. Just like any teen, Jackie needs to be encouraged to do her chores, but always gets them done (even if it takes a few reminders!) Jackie prefers to live the suburbs versus in a city and strongly desires to have siblings as she finds it lonely without other kids around, but she also wants to be able to get the individual attention she desires from parents. Because of her love of animals, Jackie would also love to find a family shares that interest. Jackie is not yet legally free for adoption.
